pressies for me old folks!
its going to be parent’s pre-early anniversary celebration tonight and we have decided to head over to Jogoya for dinner.
dunno why, but it has been a custom in our family that the children will always buy a present for parents for their anniversary which i now find it odd. i mean…..its their celebration, not ours! haha but nonetheless, its an occasion we have all got accustomed to. i suppose we as children celebrate their marriage and we are their results of happiness?!?!
anyways….this year i’ve got ma a handphone and dad an after shave lotion.
i’m keeping my fingers crossed that mum will like the phone i just bought for her. will be giving it to her tonight. its just a simple moderate phone with bluetooth and camera function. (her current phone is just a mere colour screen and she has been asking for a phone with camera). well, this time i’m getting the Sony Ericsson for her. its going to be a change from Nokia to SE. lets hope she can cope with the functions!
as for dad, after shave lotion is not something he uses. But its smells good and lately while travelling, i realized that older men (on the streets or lifts) with cologne or after shave lotion smells really good compared to some older men with scruffy faces and smell…..just like OLD MAN. so yeah, i’ve decided that i do not want my dad to be one of those “strong male smelling folks” but i want to have a proud dad that smells pleasant! hahahaha dunno what i’m rambling about anyway but i hope you get the idea. hahahah
